When Should Your Child Start HSC Tutoring?
The honest answer is: the earlier, the better. Students who begin HSC tutoring at the start of Year 11 build their foundations across two years, develop excellent study habits early, and arrive at Year 12 already ahead. That said, it's never too late, we regularly work with students who start in Term 3 of Year 12 and still see meaningful ATAR improvement in the time available.
As a general guide, we recommend starting no later than the beginning of Year 12. For subjects like English and Maths Extension, starting in Year 11 is strongly advisable.
